The King

Breathe in the light for the last time,
feel the warmth stretch your skin to your wire thin frame
hold me to my words and place a crown upon my head
thorns, I bleed
From now on I feel the space between your teeth
but im without concern
let me pry through your gums
feel my head fill to the brink with holy water
taste my saliva drip from the crown of your skull
Disregard for a softer face, moving back and fourth:forward i move on
one time to the creases of my face
melt the lead as i grin
make a cast for my tongue to cease my radiating outward
the laborious hike down the last golden mile
you carry my cross
your thighs breathe and i resuscitate my own kin
from my crown i still bleed and you keep your eyes open
to seal the deal
for the last four years i held you underwater
i would not have punished you if you hadnt sank
"why cant you walk upon it? why can't you walk as I can?"
gripping with ease at the next 100 years
hand in hand if we take down the aisle
hand in hand as we say I do
I say I do
but more importantly you say I do
for me: the king

The Fool

As the air seeps through the glass of the last broken window
The gold light strikes your frame as i hiss through the space between my teeth
forever lost in the warmth in the pink light of sunset
i clawed my way up to approval without redemption
called way by the useless plea
the wicked move inside my head
Taken apart i lay within your judgement
both hands and feet inside your mouth
give my limbs as an offering to 'our father'
because once we end
i want out
my request stifled by your reaching for my chest
I left a wound to full up my time as your body still shines gold
I play the game as the fool
memories pasted to the back of my head
dry; my eyes foggy
dry; my mouth pleases
dry; your skin
i press my face unto your pores
my request stifled by your reaching for my chest
I left a wound to full up my time as your body still shines gold
I play the game as the fool
i clench tight to the essence of your existence
from a lie to the front of my lips
once again we bask in the crystal light
you lay my fingers to my lips
you push them through unto my teeth
perfectly i could feel the space between my teeth
forever i waste away in the gold light of existence
forever i hold the inside of your cheek within the bright frame of a window
forever i answer the wasted pleas and move to the shadows to watch you bathe
forever i feel the space and ask why the gold light turns to grey
